Daniel Grey Leonge, professionally known as Drey Beatz is a Nigerian record producer, Singer & Songwriter born on July 27th in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria into the family of legendary southern musician Emma Grey.
Drey is the only son of the legendary southern musician, Emma Grey. Drey Beatz grew up listening to music by his father, Fela Kuti, Sir Victor Uwaifo, Chief Osita Osadebe, Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, Rodney Jerkins, Timothy Mosley and Kasseem Dean.
The Drey Beatz production style is deeply rooted in Reggae fusion, as well as Afro beats, Moombahton and Hip hop. Notable for his heavy and rhythmic “offbeat” drum patterns.
The cool-headed singer debuts a brand new single which was labeled Jeje, which he shares his mantra for the year as he sings about the virtues of patience and the importance of taking life easy.
